My name is Kaya Hoax and I am a singer, songwriter and producer from Montreal, Canada. I write/compose/produce avant-pop/drum n' bass music. My lyrics are very political and feminist, just like the team surrounding me. I wrote and produced Kicker following the wave of sexual assault denunciation that took place in Montreal last spring. Even though it tackles a sensitive topic, the song is upbeat and my delivery is quite energetic! A music video for Kicker is now available on YouTube, in which many local Montreal artists working in various fields appear.
