Val Kinzler is a NYC award-winning singer-songwriter who strives to inspire healing through music. As a mother, teaching artist and edutainment consultant and youth counselor for the Dept. Of Education, Kinzler writes songs in a variety of genres. Her lyrics explore conflict, love, loss and celebrate the tenacity of the human spirit.
She is the founder and talent booker for NYC Women Who Rock, a John Lennon Songwriting Contest awardee, Martin Guitars Scholarship winner via Women In Music and Recording Artists Development Singer-Songwriter Contest winner. Val has opened for Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night), Marty Balin, Johnny Johnson, BB King and Dr. John. She plays solo and with her band of rock veterans.
