Loren Marie Story is a classic jazz cover artist in Los Angeles. She runs a 5 piece band entitled "Satin Ragdoll & The Misfit Toys." They cover tunes from 1919 to 1965, using modern instrumentation while honoring their original mood and style. Self-described as “born in the wrong decade,” Loren spent her childhood and early adult life with a deep love for show tunes and the Hollywood glamour of the 1930s and 40s. After performing with a swing dance “little big band” in the Midwest for five years, Loren took her classical vocal training and stage experience and founded Satin Ragdoll in 2018.
