She wrote and recorded this song, in the spirit of the holidays, and wanted the video to reflect the Hallmark tradition. Her partner Ed Nicodemi, is often her co-writer as well, and plays guitar or piano with her as part of their duo. In this song, he is playing the guitar to her vocal.

So, it is little wonder the young singer/songwriter speaks of Dylan, Hank Williams and the Carter Family when asked of who inspires her as an artist. Not that cute boys, pop songs, Pretty Little Liars and Brett Young aren’t close to the top of her personal priority playlist.
