Today's Video Share: "A Distant Flame" by The Raghat Band (written/co-written by Kevin Reardon)

Relationships are complex - and sometimes difficult - but any positive connection between two people is special, and worth whatever effort it takes to find the love and hope that can be felt only by sharing who and what we are with someone who will cherish us and who we cherish. A distant flame is a fire that burns forever as a beacon to guide us back to the ones we love. This song was recorded by The Raghat Band, a diverse group of global musicians that perform the songs written or co-written by Kevin Reardon.

Today's Video Share: "Two Kids in the City" by Ed & Carol Nicodemi

This is a lively song about children from everywhere around the world, who play with one another freely and easily. Children embrace color. New languages. All they want to do is be with other kids who want to be kind to them. Who want to share friendship. Adults have a lot to learn from children. This is especially timely, with the state of the current racial tension in our country. The dreamers. All of it. Ed and Carol Nicodemi are proud to present this video, Two Kids In The City. The song has most recently been included in a Spotify playlist with revered Children's Music artists. The song is also included as part of a Multicultural Songbook, available on the Children's Music Network website. It is included in Carol Nicodemi's CD "It Goes This Way,' Elyse Orecchio, Ed and Carol's talented daughter, is partner singing with Carol on this song. Ed and Carol would like to credit Joe Orecchio for his stellar cinematography, taking this song to the next level. Ed and Carol Nicodemi are primarily a folk-jazz vocal and guitar/piano duo, and this song is another layer of who they are as musicians. Today's Video Blog: "The Soul of America" by Mairead

Singer/songwriter Mairead is an Artist of Integrity, Vision and Passion. Born and raised in Dublin Ireland she has been living and performing in the US for close to the last 3 decades. This is her most recent single- The Soul Of America - she wrote it in 2017 just after coming off tour for her newest Album Burn For Love - she said she sat at the piano and it just poured out. As an immigrant to this country and now a citizen she felt that the current situation in the US was a challenge on every level to excavate what this country really represents to itself and the world. We are known as the land of the free and the home of the brave where liberty and justice should be available to all but the reality is that we are currently very far from that ideal. The song and the video is a prayer and a plea to our higher ideals and that the dream of what America is and still can become is a reality that we can manifest together.

Today's Video Share: "Be Still My Heart" by Kirsten Manville

A simple and sweet song about the ups and downs of love, by singer/songwriter Kirsten Manville. With elements of Americana, folk, country, and blues, Kirsten creates songs that feel like they may have come straight from journal entries. Deceptively simple lyrics paint pictures, tell stories, and evoke a range of emotions. From the pain of finding and losing love, and hard times in a down-on-its-luck town, to the small pleasures of line-dried laundry and homemade pie, and the escapism of a romantic night for two, her warm and sultry voice draws the listener in, infusing the songs with feeling and depth. Kirsten's songs have received radio airplay on a number stations both in the United States and overseas. Her song “A Simple Life” spent time in the Top 30 charts (peaking at number 11) of The Globe Radio, an Adult Album Alternative format internet radio station, and her songs have been featured on more than one WOSRadio podcast. Today's Video Share: "Coughing Up Flowers (Official Video)" by Trinity Rose

This video and song is based on a Japanese fictional concept called Hanahaki disease where when one experiences unrequited love their lungs fill up with flowers and you have to cough them up until the love is returned. Japanese director, Lucas Takano manages to capture this on film with this video produced & written by me and co-starring friend & actor, Bryce Xavier. The ending is rather open ended so you’re not sure if she decides to go to him or not it’s up to the viewer to decide.

Today's Video Share: "Layer You Up" by Circumnavigate

During these difficult times, it’s easy to lose hope or forget that there are people out there who care about & love you!

We asked ourselves: “How can we comfort someone when we can’t physically hug them?”…“How can we share messages of hope when there is such a physical divide?”

We asked our friends & fans to help us explain in their own words…Here’s what they said.

Circumnavigate is an Oslo hailing ‘dream-pop’ 4 piece, now all based in London. The band showcases a unique blend of Nordic dream pop mixed with modern influences such as Bon Iver & Billie Eilish which has allowed them to carve their own way through the genre and claim their space.

Today's Video Share: "Enough" by The Raghat Band (written/co-written by Kevin Reardon)

Emotional, spiritual and physical trust is the foundation of all relationships. It hurts deeply when it is lost or abused. It destroys hopes and dreams. It may create feelings of guilt or embarrassment that can scar the ability to create future loving and fulfilling relationships. When trust is abused, it is very hard to stand and walk away - but we must. No one has the right to break the trust between two people. When it happens, there is no room for tolerance. Abuse of every kind must be stopped. This video is a call for understanding, change and a plea for harmony - that's ENOUGH. This song was recorded by The Raghat Band, a diverse group of global musicians that perform the songs written or co-written by Kevin Reardon.

Today's VIdeo Share: "Gelato" by SH3

No stranger to the struggles women face as they break into the music industry, it is no coincidence that, phonetically, her name is the female pronoun. (Notions like ‘music can heal the world,’ and ‘music is the universal language’ have resonated with SH3 so deeply, she decided to name herself after such beliefs; SH3 is an acronym for ‘sound healer’ followed by her favourite number, set with the intention of embedding the healing properties of sound in her music.) Not only a vocalist and songwriter, SH3 is a producer and engineer in a field that is heavily male dominated. “Representation is imperative in the pursuit of equality,” SH3 says. “I hope that making my presence known as a woman fulfilling these roles, other young girls can be inspired to do the same.”

Today's Video Share: "Eager" by Laura Mustard

Laura Mustard is releasing a music video for her latest single, “Eager,” off of her upcoming Treehouse EP project. This colorful video was filmed in Laura’s home in Nashville, TN. Laura shared that she came up with the idea for the video on a dog walk and grabbed her computer as soon as she got home to write out the full treatment herself.

This video takes viewers through a tour of Mustard’s home as she dances and acts out the lyrics of her song, “Eager.” The music video, which features lyrics about pining over a potential fella and hoping he will “be the time that I get it right." The music video for “Eager” feels playful and upbeat. Laura explains “I don't think this video takes itself too seriously. By acting out the lyrics in this video, it plays with the joke of the song and really shows how to laugh at yourself…in vibrant color! Rejection can feel so serious and important if you let it. It's okay to be ‘eager’ and easily excited all about someone new in your life. This video is a celebration of that idea.”
