I co-wrote and recorded this song well before I had ever experienced a love relationship that was actually good. My song was based on what I thought a perfect relationship would look like. This past summer, I cast a handsome actor in one of my other music videos, and we began dating. It turned out that he actually does bring me roses on all of our dates, and he treats me like a queen! This video, which he and I planned and acted in together, highlights not just what my fantasy relationship would be like, but shows my life now imitating art. I hope you enjoy the video and the song!
