The song highlights the let downs, and disappointments in the pursuit of a music career. Daisy has been writing music since she was in high school. She released her first single in 2016, which got into the top 10 iTunes country charts. She has since pivoted from country to indie pop. Daisy began her career writing love songs. However, as life has shown its challenges, her songs have taken a new depth, as she shares experiences outside of love.
