Today's Video Share: You're Invited by Gilda House

You're Invited is the title track and theme of the Gilda House debut EP. This song, EP, and music video serve two purposes. The first is literal - YOU really are invited! I'll be here every day jamming to the tune of complex feelings and living a life in service of sharing music and building community. Music is a great way to be a friend and a constant reminder that we're never really alone in our struggles. The second purpose of this EP is for me as an individual. I needed to invite myself to let go of unhealthy fears and worry. I needed to forgive myself for squashing my own joy. These songs serve as reminders about my priorities and living the life that I want to live because the truth is, I will always need reminders too. I hope these songs inspire others to let go of unhealthy habits and own their joy. For those of you already owning your joy, these songs are for celebrating that with you, because that's amazing and you're amazing.

Today's Video Share: Time Flies by Dana Rexx

Directed and co-edited by Dana herself, the story in the video is a reflection of our current political and environmental situation and a prediction of a possible apocalyptic near-future. A criticism to the blatant unwillingness of world leaders to take action and get us back on the right path, begging the question: "will we survive our own destructive nature?"... only TIME will tell.

Dana is on a mission to bring out your inner Warrior, transporting you to a world where people are free to explore their unlimited potential and follow their dreams. Heavily influenced by cutting-edge power pop artists like Eurythmics, Cher and Lady Gaga, together with cult movements like Rocky Horror and Mad Max, Dana infuses her songs with uplifting messages of empowerment and overcoming darkness, while exploring the boundaries between tribal rhythms and cinematic pop with an epic edge.

This is the first single of a string of releases that will be followed by a debut album in 2020 and a new live show. Dana’s discography is available on all digital music platforms.

Today's Video Share: Rosa by Tracy Colletto

One of the highlights of my life is returning to the village in Sicily where I get half my of my DNA. I met kind-hearted cousins and got a better idea of what life may have been like for my grandparents before they left to come here. There's a longer story behind this, which appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Giornale di Sicilia. I wrote this song for my grandmother whom I never met, or have yet found a clear image of her face. However, I know we have both taken in the beautiful panoramic views from Camporeale.

Today's Video Share: Sweet Delectable You by Angela Predhomme

About the video:
This music video for my new song, "Sweet Delectable You,” shows the story of how a girl is inspired by the upbeat, happy song, and then goes out and spreads cheer and friendliness in her town, making new friends along the way.
Film students Kyle Bearer and Matt Trisch conceived and directed this video. Shot in their hometown of Brighton, Michigan, it was a fun project that brought people from the community together.

About the song:
“Sweet Delectable You” is a tribute to vintage 1930s-style melodic songs like “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” The catchy melodies over interesting chord changes in this old-timey pop-jazz song are reminiscent of Tin Pan Alley songwriting.
The lyrics of “Sweet Delectable You” portray a wholesome fantasy of innocent romantic bliss, a style of lyric true to the period.

About the artist:
With a relaxed, soulful style all her own, singer-songwriter Angela Predhomme expresses emotion with honesty and passion. She writes memorable melodies and lyrics that touch your heart, and sings with bluesy overtones. Predhomme’s inspirational songs have been heard by millions through television, film, and commercials.
