“Coming from a small town in Northeast Mississippi with not much more than a crazy dream of being a singer, I feel that I have been very blessed to make a living in Nashville for almost 20 years lending my voice to other people’s songs as a professional session singer. This video and song is based on a Japanese fictional concept called Hanahaki disease where when one experiences unrequited love their lungs fill up with flowers and you have to cough them up until the love is returned. Japanese director, Lucas Takano manages to capture this on film with this video produced & written by me and co-starring friend & actor, Bryce Xavier. The ending is rather open ended so you’re not sure if she decides to go to him or not it’s up to the viewer to decide.
